Our absolutely amazing cruise in the lap of luxury!

In the summer of 2017, we were fortunate enough to be able to cruise on Azamara Journey around the Baltics. The itinerary itself was phenomenal – 3 whole days in St. Petersburg! – but, what put it over the top was our upgrade to the Club World Owner’s Suite Monte Carlo! Cruising can be everything you want in a vacation! This is our absolutely ‘azamazing’ experience!

It wasn’t our first suite, for sure, but, it was the most luxurious one we have had the good fortune to stay in!

The 1 bedroom suite was well laid out taking a sizeable corner portion of the ship’s backend. On the 6th floor, the corner of this part of the ship meant a huge deck! The living room had a couch, chair, with a large 4 seat dining room table, cabinets for all the ‘stuff’ you get on the cruise and a bar. The bedroom had full king size bed, with a built in change room – almost as large as our built in at home! The bathroom was large – a full bath, separate shower, and a separate toilet area in case you have guests.

Approximately 600 sq. ft inside, plus another 250 square feet of deck.

Absolutely azamazing!

Cruising with Azamara is always a pleasure. Their ’boutique’ hotel model, with inclusive activities and services means you don’t feel nickel and dimed every time you have a drink or show up somewhere.

With this suite came some ‘sweet’ benefits. Special cocktail events at exclusive onboard venues, a ‘Best of the Best’ dinner, priority seating for some of the entertainment events, and so on. We really enjoyed the experience and it made this cruise extra special!
